Equality Act

This site has been archived and will not be updated in the foreseeable future. The Equality Act (H.R.5) was passed in the House on February 25th, 2021. The Senate judiciary committee held hearings on the bill on March 17th, 2021. It has not been voted on in the Senate.


The Equality Act is proposed legislation intended to build on the 1964 Civil Rights act by extending anti-discrimination protection to  lesbians, gays, and those claiming transgender identity… 

The problem for women and girls is the lack of clear definitions in the legislation of these categories, and the prioritization of gender identity over biological sex…

The transgender lobby is extremely well-funded and has established a strong presence in many key institutions…

To counter the power of this movement, we will need a massive grassroots effort.
